After setting up your Wavlink extender, you must take and use some useful tips to optimize its performance to some extent. In doing so, your extender will start working with more power. So, first of all, try choosing the ideal location for the extender placement as this is the required thing after the Wavlink AX1800 setup. Make sure the location you are choosing is free from electrical appliances so that there will be no interruptions in signals. Also, the distance between them should not be too much or too low. Moreover, we recommend you make wired connections instead of wireless to have a stable and reliable signal. 

Here, it is also advisable to change the network’s password and SSID network name to give it a unique and different identity. Keep in mind to add some different characters in the password so that it will be hard to guess for external users. Furthermore, check for the extender’s firmware update frequently and update it on time to keep its working optimized. But, if there is any error occurs in the extender, then reset it and configure it again.
